About Me
"Growing up in Cambridgeshire and spending long periods in southern Spain, I’ve been shaped by both the gentle English countryside and the rugged Mediterranean landscape that still inspires me today. The distinct architecture and ecologies of the places I’ve travelled shape my design approach — ensuring each project fits harmoniously within its wider landscape. My work is guided by a deep interest in ecology, history, and art, and by the need to respond to the climate and biodiversity crisis.

I began gardening and landscaping in 2015 with Jacq & Wills Landscapes in East Anglia. In 2020 I graduated with a degree in Landscape Architecture from Leeds Beckett University, which gave me a strong foundation in large-scale urban and rural design, sustainability, and the relationship between people and place.

I later worked as a Designer and Landscape Assistant at Outdoor Living Collective, gaining hands-on experience across the full design and build process — from developing client relationships to completing the construction of the designs.

I have also completed the RHS Level 3 Practical Horticulture course, which has deepened my understanding of how to grow and care for plants. Now, alongside designing, I work in a private garden where managing evolving plant communities throughout the seasons informs my design approach. This hands-on experience ensures my designs are practical and responsive to how gardens truly grow."

My Approach
I identify how the site wants to evolve naturally and guide it to do so in a beautiful way that is tailored to the client's needs. The result of this approach is a garden born through design but created through natural processes.
